      Waiting teaches us to let God do His work and not let us prematurely try to force His timetable on us. In the Old testament we are instructed 43 different times to wait. We’d rather be in control, in the driver’s seat, making moves, making things happen, getting results. And yet, God values waiting so much that it’s one of the main tools He uses in our lives to get to our hearts and change us from the inside out.

What are you waiting for today. While the Israelites were crying out for help God was working through Moses. You might not see it, you might not understand how, but God is at work and He is going to deliver you.

Be still for just a moment so you can realize that help is on the way. While you are currently worrying God is already at work.

Why is waiting on God so hard. Waiting can be one of God’s most effective tools. The timing can be just as prescient as the substance of His response. Indeed, the longer we need to wait, the more attentive we become. With our being properly active while we wait, is when God goes to work.

Waiting time is not passive it should be spent in prayer and in God's Word. It is seeking Him and His will and what He wants to show and teach us while we are waiting.

It's asking Him to work on our attitude and our faith so we can trust more and let go of our fears, our doubts, our need to be in control it's asking Him to use the time to. Stand Still – Come to God and expect God to take over. Don’t panic.

Trust in God as all powerful. (Elohim) The battle is mine saith the Lord. It is very difficult to wait on the Lord, but it is worse to wish you did when you didn’t. God won’t work unless you are willing to give it all to Him. Waiting helps us to become stronger Christians. Waves of His Spirit swept through that place for hours.

I am convinced God was just waiting for someone to get out there on the edge and give Him the opening and the opportunity to demonstrate what He could do. God was waiting for me. The truth is, God is waiting on the whole Church for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

A few years ago, God put something on my heart a desire to write and to share with others all of the amazing things He was stirring within me. I started this blog inand it’s been amazing to see God work through the process, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for this ministry.
